Tips on Packing

Whenever you plan to go on a vacation, you should take only the bare minimum of clothing along with you. Select your clothing based on its practicality. In warm climates, lightweight cotton clothing will make you feel better against than the tight-fitting sticky synthetic fabrics. If you are going on vacation to some tropical regions then you should protect your skin excessive exposure to strong sunlight. You will be far safer with high neck lined tops, long-sleeved shirts and long trousers. Keep only lightweight, light colored fabrics and loose-fitting clothes in order to maximize the comfort of your clothing.

Casual comfortable clothing will also decrease the chances of you being marked as a wealthy and easy target by thieves. To look a bit more dressy and sophisticated you can add a weightless colorful scarf to your simple day clothes. Do not wear jewelry because it is bulky heavy, and can attract thieves.

If you have love for clothes, try to resist the urge to pack more and more. Remember the less you pack the more freedom you will enjoy. Do not worry about being seen in the same set of clothing. No one apart from you travel partner will see you more than once anyway. Extra pairs of skirts or trousers can add considerably to your luggage load. Trousers having plenty of pocket space are recommended as these provide ample space for you to put small things like your I-pod, souvenirs or other items.
