If you are going on a domestic travel trip with your family or friends then call the airline in advance to see if you can choose your seats or else, you may have to sit separately from your family or friends in a flight.
In domestic travel, you do not travel far but still the weather conditions may be quite different. Therefore, you should pack accordingly.
